It was my first grandparent and grandchildren session, but hopefully it won't be my last! I spent an evening on the University of Alabama's campus with "Grandaddy", "Bebe", and their nine beautiful grandkids, ranging in ages from 9 months to 10 years old. The love between them is so strong and with every smile and hug, I was reminded why I love this job so much!

I captured individual photos of each child with each grandparent as well as solo shots of all of the kids and group shots of the entire family together. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, and their grandparents were beaming with joy the entire time. There are actually two(!) sets of twins in this bunch too (one identical and one fraternal), which made for such special photos. My grandparents are two of the most important people in my life, so I was so thrilled to help preserve these memories for this family. Next time you see your grandparents, remember to snap a photo (even if it's just a quick IPhone selfie). You'll be so thankful later on to have that time with them on camera.
