When Anna booked her family session in several months out, I could only hope for beautiful fall weather come the day of the shoot. And boy, did Railroad Park deliver! The trees were starting to change colors, the clouds gave way to gorgeous sunshine, and the tall grasses that line Railroad Park were pretty in pink. We started at the infamous "white wall" near the south side of the park for some classic portraits of her daughters. We then moved to one of the tree-lined paths for family photos amongst the fallen golden leaves. Finally, we ended the session at the grass pathway that cuts through the pink tall grass and captured individual portraits, family combinations, and a mini-session of Anna and her sweet husband. I'm a firm believer that parents need photos together too! Anna's mother-in-law joined us, which allowed for sweet photos with her and the girls. They also brought their adorable dog Molly, because it's not a family session without photos with your furry friend!
